On a beautiful quaint setting, a historical home needed a fun and elegant pool area. Columbus Hardscapes was brought in to transform a topiary garden into a usable area. Dealing with elevation change is often the biggest struggle of a project, but by including some gorgeous retaining walls around the pool, we were able to overcome that challenge. Natural Travertine pavers and coping were used, including replacing the Aluminum auto-cover piece with brackets and matching coping for a cleaner look. The majority of the boxwoods from the topiary garden were saved and transplanted, the custom cedar arbor installed, and fresh grading and turf wrapped up this gorgeous project. We then transformed the driveway by compacting limestone gravel and added Decomposed Granite, bordered by natural stone. Stunning!
