In the early spring of 2021, we met with Columbus Hardscapes to discuss patio and landscape design. Within two weeks, we met with Rob Hewitt to review the plans. We loved everything he and his team drafted. After being scheduled for a June/July project, we were pleasantly surprised when they were able to fit us into their schedule in mid-May. The men worked neatly and diligently for two weeks. Jeff led a great team as our project progressed; he was always available and positive if we reached out with a question. The project was done before we knew it. Everyone who has seen our patio and landscaping has been in awe. Our neighbors have made a point to come over and comment on the finished work. We would confidently recommend Columbus Hardscapes to anyone.

When I was looking for a company to do hardscaping, I ran across Columbus Hardscapes. One of the reviews was not so kind about their timely responses so I read the follow-up from the owner. I KNEW this was the company I was going with. Funny how some bad reviews work! If they are busy, then obviously they are in demand. I am absolutely thrilled with every aspect of the job they did for me. Steve designed it, I approved, and Jeff and his crew were on it. I am in a condo, my space isn't huge so they were able to complete the entire patio in 2 days. From my original consultation to final install was approx 6 weeks. To me that was timely considering others were ahead of me, and weather can play games. My neighbors were amazed and got business cards. I can't wait to see their new patios! Thank you especially to Steve who put time and effort into a plan that I loved. Outstanding!!

Rob and his team did a wonderful job, from start to finish. We went to Columbus Hardscapes with a rough idea of what we wanted (retaining wall, paver patio with fire pit, accent lights, fence), and they knocked it out of the park.
Rob came up with a 3D rendering that incorporated and improved upon our ideas, talked us through our paver options, and his team was on the job right when he said they would be. His crew was professional, courteous, and they finished on time - maybe early. The project exceeded all expectations.

They put in a patio for us early spring 2022. From the design consultation to the install they were incredible to work with. Steve's design was perfect and he took the time to walk us through his thoughts and incorporate ours. From there Jeff and the build team was on point with constant communication. They left our property cleaner than they arrived every night as well. In the end the project was everything we wanted and great quality. Great team.

We had a patio installed in April, 2022. All of our interactions from the initial estimate to the final steps of installation were amazing. Our patio is GORGEOUS! Excellent work and end result. Rob was great with the initial design and ideas. Jeff, our project manager, was professional and very helpful with on-the-fly changes. The guys that built our patio were awesome. Super nice and professional. Always tried to keep the area clean afterwards. They cut our cable line (I kind of expect it to happen eventually) one Friday evening and the guys stayed late to temporarily fix it (even after the sun went down) so we had Internet through the weekend until the cable company was able to run a new line. We didn't even need to ask and I told them not to worry about it. Jeff was hands on during different parts of the project and went out of his way to get things done right. I was very impressed with the professional team. We spent a little more than expected but it's a new era of inflation and everything is more expensive. Overall we are very happy with the results and we will be using them again for our next project. I already referred them to our family and they are doing a great job there too.

We had our patio installed by Columbus Hardscapes this spring and they did a phenomenal job. The initial process was very transparent and detailed. They showed us a visual of their mock-up, gave us options and suggestions for how to alter what they came up with in any way we wanted. They made it clear they wanted to fulfill any vision we had, while offering guidance on what the easiest/most reasonable way to accomplish it would be. Once we agreed on a design, they worked diligently to complete the work. The most important element while our patio was being built was the flexibility and transparency. Flexibility to make changes as we see fit, we made a couple and they couldn’t have been more willing to accommodate. Transparency in the progress of construction from the project manager the whole way. What elements they would be working on that day/week, how long it would take, any unexpected hurdles, etc. Finally, and this may be the most important element, they worked to finish the job to our definition of complete. They didn’t just collect the money and forget about us. The amount of attention and care felt the same at the end as it did in the beginning. We cannot recommend them enough, our experience was top notch and it feels good to have such a positive experience on something that’s such a major purchase. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone we know.

Our outdoor living space is amazing thanks to Columbus Hardscapes! Rob listened to our ideas and incorporated them into something that we had never imagined we'd have on our property. He then produced digital renderings so that we could have a better visual of the proposed project. We are so happy with the finished product - it feels like we are at a resort! Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how impressed I was with the installation of The Natural Blue stone that was installed at our front entrance of the Manor House. This was one of the most important jobs we have undertaken since we bought this place over 7 years ago. First impressions are so important to us for our exclusive guests while visiting our place.
